Faith, Feathers, and a New Book: ‘When God Plants a Farm’ is Here!

Post Categories

The air here at the farm has been crisp and full of promise lately. As the seasons begin their gentle shift, we have some very special news to share with all of you. It has been a long journey, filled with patience and a lot of quiet trust, but we are finally ready to announce that our new book is officially out in the world.

"When God Plants a Farm" is now available for you to enjoy. It has been a labor of love that reflects the heart and soul of everything we do here at Faithful Flock Farm. We have spent many mornings and evenings reflecting on the lessons we learn from the land, and putting those thoughts onto paper has been a truly humbling experience.

We know many of you have been waiting alongside us. It actually took a few months for everything to get settled through Amazon, but we truly believe in God’s perfect timing. Sometimes, the slow pace of things allows us to appreciate the final result even more. Just like a seed waiting in the soil, this book needed its own season to grow before it was ready for the light of day.

A Story Shared from the Heart

When we first started this journey, we simply wanted to document the daily miracles we see in our fields and barns. We wanted to talk about the stewardship of the land and the animals that have been placed in our care. This book is an extension of that mission. It is a collection of stories, reflections, and the simple joys of agricultural life.

Writing this was not just about sharing our chores or our successes. It was about sharing the moments of quiet peace that come when you are working in harmony with nature. We hope that when you read it, you feel like you are sitting right here on the porch with us, watching the sunset over the coop.

Meet the Stars of the Flock

Of course, the book would not be complete without the real stars of the farm. We made sure to include plenty of stories about the personalities that make our days so bright. Our feathered friends, Esther, Rhonda, Liz, and Janice, all play a part in the narrative. They each have their own unique way of showing us the beauty of creation, and their antics often provide the best lessons in faith and resilience.

We also couldn't leave out our loyal companions who follow us everywhere we go. Our sweet Milo, who is a Maltese dog, is always by our side with a gentle spirit. And then there is Panda Bear, our black-and-white Shih Tzu dog, who keeps us laughing with his playful energy. These two are more than just pets, they are part of the family and a big part of the stories we tell.

Whether it is a story about a stubborn hen or a quiet moment with the dogs in the grass, these animals remind us of the responsibility we have to be good stewards. They rely on us for their needs, just as we rely on a higher power for ours. It is a beautiful cycle of trust that we try to capture in every chapter.

Available Now on Kindle

Right now, you can find the digital version of "When God Plants a Farm" on Amazon Kindle. It is such a blessing to know that with just a click, our stories can travel into your homes and hearts. We wanted to make sure it was accessible to everyone who wants a little bit of farm-style peace in their daily lives.

There is something so special about holding a physical book, turning the pages, and seeing the photos in print. We are counting down the days until those physical copies arrive on our doorstep and yours.

Reflections on Stewardship

The core of this book, and the core of Faithful Flock Farm, is the idea of stewardship. We believe that we are called to care for what we have been given with a sense of gratitude and intentionality. Whether we are tending to the garden or checking on the flock, we do it with a heart that says "thank you."

In the book, we talk about how farming isn't just about the work of our hands. It is about the work of the heart. It is about learning to wait on the rain, trusting that the harvest will come, and finding joy in the small, everyday tasks. We share how these simple farm traditions help us stay grounded in a world that often feels too fast and too loud.

We have found that the more we lean into this quiet trust, the more we see the beauty in the world around us. We hope that our book serves as a gentle reminder to slow down and notice the blessings in your own life, no matter where you are.

A Season of New Beginnings

As we look forward to the print release this week, we are filled with a sense of hope. This is just one of several projects we have been working on. While Amazon might take a while sometimes, we are learning to embrace the wait. We have more stories to tell and more lessons to share in the months to come.

Our goal is to release updates and new content regularly, perhaps even once a month if the timing allows. We want to keep sharing the wholesome, faith-based life we lead here, because we believe that peace is meant to be shared.

Thank you for supporting our small farm and our big dreams. Whether you buy the book, share our posts, or just stop by to see our products, you are helping us maintain this way of life. We are honored to be able to do what we do, and we are so glad to have you along for the ride.

We look forward to seeing the print copies out in the world soon. Keep an eye on our upcoming events for any future book signings or farm gatherings where we might celebrate this launch together. 📞

Until then, we will be here, tending to the flock and enjoying the simple gifts of the day. We hope your week is filled with the same kind of quiet joy we find here among the feathers and the fields.

And if you would like to follow along, we invite you to visit our website often to see more books coming out soon in this series.
