When God Plants a Farm
What happens when God plants a dream you never expected? When God Plants a Farm tells the heartwarming story of how Faithful Flock Farm began, bringing together faith, family, animals, and plenty of unexpected farm adventures. It’s a story about trusting God’s plan and discovering that sometimes His greatest blessings begin with the smallest seeds.
The Story Behind the Book
It really started with Aunt Jean and Grandpa. I began writing little stories about life at Faithful Flock Farm for them, and they enjoyed them so much they kept telling me, “You should publish these!”
Soon, I began sharing the stories with people who came to the farm to buy eggs. They enjoyed them too, and I began to wonder if these little stories were meant to travel beyond our family and farm.
But before I could share all the adventures, I kept coming back to one thought: we need to start at the beginning.
How did there even come to be a Faithful Flock Farm?
That’s how When God Plants a Farm was born. Before I could tell everyone what was happening on the farm, I needed to tell them how God planted the farm in the first place.
Trusting God Through the Storm
Sometimes the storms of life arrive without warning. Trusting God Through the Storm is a Faithful Flock Farm story about holding onto faith when things don’t go according to plan and remembering that God is still with us, even in the middle of the storm.
The Story Behind the Book
Some stories are imagined. This one began with something I never expected to happen.
There are moments in life when everything can change in an instant. Moments when you are reminded just how quickly fear can take over and how deeply you have to rely on your faith.
Trusting God Through the Storm grew out of one of those moments for me.
I won’t tell you what happened here, because that’s part of the story. But I will tell you this: afterward, I knew it was a story I needed to write.
Evening on the Porch – July 2026
Pull up a chair and settle in on the porch. Evening on the Porch: July 2026 brings together stories from Faithful Flock Farm, told through the personalities of the animals who call the farm home. Filled with farm adventures, laughter, faith, Scripture, and reflection, each story offers a little glimpse into life at Faithful Flock Farm.
The Story Behind the Book
Imagine sitting on the front porch at the end of the day, sipping a tall glass of lemonade or your favorite drink. Beside you sits an old radio, and as the evening settles in, you hear the story of the day or the week from Faithful Flock Farm.
That’s the feeling behind Evening on the Porch.
The animals have plenty to say about life around here, and they don’t always tell the story quite the way Mama would! Through their adventures, personalities, and unique points of view, they share the laughter, lessons, faith, and everyday moments that make Faithful Flock Farm home.
So pull up a chair, pour yourself something to drink, and stay awhile. There’s always another story waiting to be told on the porch.
The Promise Fulfilled
Easter at Faithful Flock Farm is about more than eggs. The Promise Fulfilled gathers Mama and the flock together for a special Easter morning as they discover the true meaning of the cross, the empty tomb, and the greatest gift ever given. Through questions, laughter, Scripture, and the familiar personalities of the farm, the Easter message comes to life in a way families can share together.
The Story Behind the Book
I woke up Easter morning with this story on my heart.
I hadn’t planned to sit down and write an Easter story that morning, but the words were there. I began thinking about the animals of Faithful Flock Farm and how Mama might share with them what Easter is really about.
From there, The Promise Fulfilled began to take shape.
It became a way to share the Easter message through the familiar voices and personalities of the farm, while keeping the focus where it belongs: on Jesus, the cross, the empty tomb, and the promise that was fulfilled.
Sometimes a story is planned. And sometimes you simply wake up knowing there is a story on your heart that needs to be told.
